I purchased this 1936 Lockheed Electra Junior in 1988. It had been sitting on a ramp in
Texas for about 10 years. The owner wanted a Cessna 195, and I just happened to have
one to trade. A group of family and friends very graciously went out there with me, and
through much blood, sweat and tears and a little magic, we flew it home. She went through
an extensive 19 year restoration and on April 13 2007, she flew again. This project would
not have been possible without the help, skill and dedication of my friends and family. My
father-in-law, Bob Parker, was my partner in the adventure for many years, and I was
fortunate enough to have his skill and craftsmanship. Lenord (Bear) Ebert was my right
and left hand man day in and day out, especially the last 2 years. MANY others offered
help in their respective areas of expertise.  I could not have done it without you!
